There are lots of beatiful fountains in Olomouc, some of them already from 17th century. Arion´s fountain (Arion was a famous poem in ancient Greece) is located on the Upper Square, was finished in 2002 and in 2005 it was awarded in The best water construction contest. The fountain was actualy created in italy, by an italian Studio di Archittetura in Lucca, but the author is a Czech sculptor Ivan Theimer. Your task is to ride a turtle and have a bath in the fountain (just don´t get sick, it´s cold outside).
